La Jeune Chambre Economique du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg réalise chaque année plusieurs projets. Ceux-ci sont la clé de voûte du mouvement JCI et sont tournés autour d’un objectif social, économique et/ou culturel, répondant à un besoin de la cité. Ils sont réalisés par des commissions (ou groupes de travail). Ainsi les membres expérimentent et peuvent acquérir de l’expérience par l’action au profit de la communauté.
L’ambition de ce prix est de sélectionner et récompenser le jeune entrepreneur le plus créatif établi au Luxembourg .

Luxembourg & Gulf Countries - Business Opportunities
On June 3rd 2010 JCI Luxembourg organized its conference “Luxembourg & Gulf Countries – Business Opportunities” in the BGL BNPParibas Auditorium at Kirchberg as part of its communication activities around the world business development.
Mrs Anouk Agnes from the Ministry of Finance provided insight in all the efforts made by the Luxembourgish Government in order to enable active exchange between Luxembourg and the Gulf regions.
Mr Carlo Thelen from the Chamber of Commerce took the opportunity to inform about the big success that Luxembourgish companies have in the region. read more…

In the second part of the conference, all panel members stated that they are very convinced about the future of Luxemboug in the development of Islamic financial products. Actions have already been undertaken and remaining ones will be accomplished in the near future. Indeed, the financial environment of Luxembourg is in favor of this unconventional financial assets class as it was well said by the panel consisting of Mr Sohail Jaffer from FWU Group, Mrs Valerie Mantot from Loyens & Loeff, Mr Asif Beg From BNP Paribas securities Services, Mr Jean Marc Goy from the CSSF and Mr Anouar Hassoune from Moody’s Investors Service. read more…

Fair Trade Breakfast
JCI Luxembourg organized on the 16th of May 2008 a breakfast “Et si vous vous ét(h)iquetiez équitable ?” in order to promote Fair Trade products and more widely Social Responsibility in companies.
The event took place in the superb cafeteria of the Mudam, with the support of Léa Linster, the Luxembourg chef, who charmed the guests with a delicious breakfast.
Thanks also to the support of TransFair-Minka, Cactus, Naturata, COMED, the BCEE, Eurest and the INDR (Institut National pour le Développement durable et la Responsabilité Sociale des entreprises), this event was a great success !
The participants, decision makers in Luxembourg, appreciated not only the food, but also all the information provided by the speakers from Trans-Fair Minka, Naturata, INDR, JCI Luxembourg as well as Léa Linster herself.
